Campaigns: Getting things done
If you don't like something about your neighbourhood, use a campaign to change it! But to be successful, you will need publicity.
Putting all the news about your campaign on your group's website, then posting new information on how it's all going gets attention for the issues you care about.
The 'Campaigns' part of your website works in the same way as the 'Local News' section. The layout changes as you add content to it. When you write a new article, it appears at the top and the existing content gets pushed down the page.
If you want, you can have some 'fixed' information at the top of the page that you always want to display. Down below however, you can add some articles to keep people updated as things change.
In our area, we live in a beautiful valley, but our open space is wanted for housing. So this part of the page would be a great place to tell people the basic details of the issue, while you can see the latest headlines of our campaign are displayed in an eye-catching way further down.
